 1/8 Dirt Oval...
Hey everyone, I am a team driver for GFDracing and I race 1/8th Dirt Oval Late models. I am going to get a 801x and convert it to an oval DLM... just wanted to see what you guys thought about this?? It should be awesome from all the great things i've been hearing bout the new buggy/truggy!!! Hopefully i will be able to make a custom chassis for it by the end of 2010... Lot of attention coming to Dirt Oval in the past couple years, especially on East Coast.. What you guys think??
Thanks, Phil Thompson GFDracing

 Re: 1/8 Dirt Oval...
Check out the engine position. This is for added left weight, which is needed in oval when only turning left! Also, I will be using the 15mm front shocks on all 4 corners for easy spring set-ups.. should be ordering a custom set of springs to allow for great spring tuning.

 Re: 1/8 Dirt Oval...
Hey guys, I got to try the car out this past weekend at the local track. all i can say is WOW!! I was more than impressed with the way the car drove for the first couple times out. I thought it would eventually be good, but also thought id have a lot of work to do set-up wise, but it was awesome!
