Rheinard Wins 2009 EFRA European Championship
Marc Rheinard took his first major off road championship winning the 4wd class at the 2009 Euros with the Tamiya TRF511x buggy. Marc Won the final three rounds of qualifying to start from the pole. From there, he never looked back. Marc took the first leg over his Tamiya teammate Vicktor Wilck,
who then suffered a DQ on a technical infringement. In leg 2, Marc would battle with his other Tamiya teammate Hupo Honigl and Neil Cragg before an uncharacteristic error from the current on road World Champion would open the door for Cragg to get by and dropping Marc to a 3rd place finish. The final leg saw Marc return to form and lead from start to finish winning the leg and securing the overall win with Tamiya taking 3 of the top 4 positions overall with Hupo in 3rd, and Vicktor in 4th.
