TRF driver Steve Bortolotti took his prototype Tamiya TRF801Xe buggy to TQ and overall victory in the first round of the RC Pro Canada Series in Ontario, Canada this past weekend. With track conditions changing all the time, it made for a tough challenge for all of the drivers. In a field where all of the major manufacturers were represented by U.S. and Canadian drivers, Steve was able to get an idea how well it faired against some of the more established 1/8^th electric buggies on the market. Right out of the box, Steve showed what the Tamiya buggy could do by locking up TQ honors for the event. In the main, it was much the same story with Steve able to overcome a very blown out track and claim victory for the prototype buggy.
