Q. Why are some products designated a TRF kit?

A. The kits with the TRF brand are those kits that have been developed mostly by a key group of designers in Japan. These key people have been with the company for over a decade and bring many years of practical racing knowledge. TRF Nitro racing kits are now also being developed in the U.S. by our newly founded Tamiya America Design division. Since these types of kits have gone through the rigorous paces of racing competition they are sold under the TRF Brand. When a customer buys a TRF labeled kit they can trust on getting the best developed product from Tamiya.
