Outback Raceway 3/27- Finally finished with the Tamiya TRF801X-LM this week and got to take it to the track for a few laps! The local track was having their second race of the year, but my main goal was to get some laps with the new car and radio. When I finally hit the track, the Tamiya Late Model was actually above my expectations for the day! I was able to run pretty consistent laps in both my heats for the first times with the car!!! I thought it would take several sessions to get the car into shape, since it is originally a off-road buggy, but i was more than impressed. As for the main, I broke the brand new bumper we made in the third heat, so i was unable to start the mains, but all together it was a successful trip!!! cant wait to get on the track next week!! Thanks GFDracing, Tamiya, Thompson Machine Works, Answer-RC USA, Ascendancy Racing, and Kal-Gard. Can't wait for this season, it should be awesome!!
