Came back to my hometown of Medina Ohio for the Ohio State R/C Pro Rd #1. Rain was in the forcast and it didn't dissapoint. It rained as we kept a close eye on the radar praying for a window to get our race in. We got lucky and were able to get the race in after a short delay. Turnout was a bit low, around 85 entries of Buggies and Truggies. During practice I allowed about 5 people to run my car and to say they were impressed by the Tamiya 801X would be an understatement.  They were amazed at the stability and the turning ability of the car. The forgivingness and the accelleration. I was very glad to hear there responses!

As for the race I was able to take TQ in both classes in the 3 qualifiers. We had 30 min mains on tap and I knew with just some clean laps I would be able to take victory. I went on to win both classes by about 2-3 laps and the cars performed brilliantly. I felt like I had more steering in both vehicles than anyone else on the track and the performance of the buggy especially on the 'rhythm' section was awesome!

I enjoy coming back home, not only too see my family whom all still live here but to come back and see how my local stomping ground have changed and evolved! It was a great time had by all and I look forward to returning next year!

Next up........Off to Australia!!! :-D
