4/10, Harmony Hills Raceway: Well I decided to venture out to another spectacle to my R/C racing career. I decided to take on Off-road armed with my GFDracing Tamiya 801X. After working out some minor radio issues on Friday's practice, I was able to get in some consistent sessions. I caught on quick, since I haven't run off-road in nearly 5 yrs and I wasn't too good then! After the 3 rounds of heats, I qualified 12th (4th in B-main) in Open Buggy. The 20 min B-main was a little challenging as Im used to running only 4 min races in oval. I was able to hang in there and finish 2nd in the B main to earn a spot in the Open Buggy A-main!! I was stoked, because the goal I had set for the weekend was accomplished: make it to the A! The A-main was 35 min, and boy was that yet another experience! I did well and was able to run the complete 35 mins coming home in 8th of 10. Overall, I felt accomplished as I am still learning the bumps and jumps of this racing style, but it was a blast!

Next stop on the RCPS TN St Championship Series is WhiteHouse Hobbies, Nashville, TN. I plan on attending this race with my Tamiya 801X powered by a new Alpha Plus Engine and pipe!
