I finally got the chance to visit a former local racer’s track that he started down in Midville Ga. PineLand R/C will also host Round 4 of the Georgia Championship Series. The track was Sandy light clay with medium Traction with a couple of large jumps that took a lot of power to clear. Also had a real trick triple double in the middle of a dog leg turn. Very low turn out..but all I wanted was some practice before nest weekend.
AKA soft City Blocks where my tire of choice. I think that grid Irons will be a better selection next weekend when more racers run on it and the track groves up. I was able to get some much needed track time and get a feel of the track condition and layout. Overall my truggy didn’t feel that bad on the track, however I do have a few setup changes that I want to try for next weekend. I did however blow my 4th steering servo adding to my growing DNF list. Grrrrrrr!
