Lee Martin Gives TRF201 First Win!

Lee Martin qualified second and took a close second in leg 1, but came back and took the win in leg two and it was all down to leg three as Ellis and Lee battled it out in a very exciting final race. A last minute pass from Lee saw him take the win and with it his first National 2WD win, and first for the new not-yet-released TRF 2WD buggy. In addition, Martin sealed up a near perfect start to the 2010 BRCA 1/10th off road national series with a second day of outstanding racing giving him TQ and win in all three legs of the A final in 4WD buggy with his TRF511 chassis...

 

TRF 2WD Buggy Prototype in the Works!

This exciting new prototype will be featured in the May issues of Japanese R/C enthusiast magazines RC Magazine and RC World (both on sale in early April). Although it is still undergoing development and the specifications have not been finalized, here is a brief glimpse of the machine.

After capturing the TQ posistion through 3 rounds, Adam Drake was set to capture his 2nd Truggy Psycho Nitro Blast title. At the start of the 1 hour main event it was hot and heavy pure Psycho Style as the field took of and hammered through the straight jacket section with Drake, Truhe and Lutz freight-training. Through the Delirium section it remained the same order but through shock therapy (woops) Lutz took over the second spot and set his sights on Drake. The second lap saw Lutz make a bold move for the lead that ended up with a piggy back on the drake. Lutz quickly regained control and eventually took over the lead. Lutz never looked back ........
